Abstract: The article is devoted to the criminal law principles. Criminal law principles can be defined as sustainable, objective and essential connections between criminal law phenomena, on the one hand, and social and legal phenomena, on the other hand, which determine the genesis, structure and functional peculiarities of criminal law. In the work of the proposed classification of the criminal law principles, based on various grounds.
