Rezumat: Orice copil poate intra în contact cu sistemul juridic, fie în calitate de inculpat, martor, persoană vătămată într-o cauză penală ori implicat în proceduri civile ca adopţie, divorţ, sau pur şi simplu pentru că se află în dificultate temporară şi necesită o măsură de protecţie, iar felul în care sunt trataţi copiii în cadrul procedurilor judiciare este o problemă care ţine de drepturile fundamentale ale omului.
