Rezumat: Prin forţa progresului tehnic şi proliferarea fără precedent a mijloacelor informatice, ceea ce reprezintă doar ficţiune în urmă cu o jumătate de secol, a devenit acum o realitate tangibilă. Pretutindeni în jurul nostru, destinate în principiu, să ne îmbunătăţească calitatea vieţii (de exemplu, sistemele de supraveghere video din interiorul instituţiilor publice, marilor magazine, stadioanelor etc.), sistemele de supraveghere au devenit un real „ajutor invizibil în investigarea faptelor de o anumită natură”.

Abstract: By virtue of the technical progress and the unprecedented development of information means, what was only fiction half a century ago has now become tangible reality. Being everywhere around us and mainly meant to improve the quality of our lives (as the video surveillance systems inside public institutions, supermarkets, stadiums etc.), the surveillance systems has become a real „invisible forensic help”.
