The crime victims’ rights from the perspective of judicial examinations in criminal matters

Abstract: The crime victims require a particular attention during the criminal proceedings due to their special status and the danger of their revictimization. The Code of criminal procedure into force states a new criminal procedural position for the crime victims, featured by legal means regarding the activity of judicial examination, both in the investigation and judgment phases of criminal proceeding. In the current paper, I would like to present issues of the criminal procedural means, which define the legal framework of the crimes victims’ rights. In this context, the paper aims at analyzing and thoroughgoing study of specific elements in the matter of solving criminal cases by means of exercising judicial examinations, under the main scope to assure the crime victims’ rights during the criminal proceedings.
